Menstrual psychosis in an adolescent girl

Psychotic episodes that synchronise with the menstrual cycle have been described in case reports. Here, the authors report the case of an adolescent girl presenting with psychosis coinciding with menstruation and discuss the aetiology of this cyclical associaton.
