Latest Advances in Psychiatry Symposium
A collaboration between Progress and the Psychopharmacology Special Interest Group of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
This annual Symposium began in 2002: it was the idea of the late Professor Robert Kerwin, Professor of Psychopharmacology at the Institute of Psychiatry in London. Professor Kerwin was instrumental in putting the programme together each year, on behalf of the Psychopharmacology Special Interest Group of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
The PSIG intends the Symposium to be part of a structured CPD programme. So the objective of the Symposium going forward is to provide senior psychiatrists with independent, up to date, practical information that will support them in achieving their personal CPD objectives and in their everyday clinical practice.
The 2010 Symposium was held on Wednesday 24 March at the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park, London. Reports from the symposium will be posted on the website shortly.
