A UK survey of treatment of dementia in Parkinson's disease
Authors
Abstract
Clinical experience with antidementia drugs in dementia in Parkinson's disease (PDD) is still limited and a lack of diagnostic criteria and specific screening tests further complicates clinical decision making. Here, the authors discuss the results of a postal survey sent to PD clinicians in the UK to assess their methods of diagnosis and use of antidementia drugs in PDD patients.
