Abstract
In Pregnancy is a series of reviews focusing on the management of women with psychiatric and neurological conditions during pregnancy. In this article, Dr Meiser‐Stedman and Dr Curtis discuss the risks associated with pregnancy in women with bipolar affective disorder (BPAD) and the issues that need to be considered regarding the management of BPAD before and during pregnancy as well as immediately after the birth.
